Hawkes Racing co-trainer Michael Hawkes says stable star All Too Hard is "back on top of his game" after a virus curtailed the valuable colt's shot at the Group I Australian Guineas at Flemington earlier this month.
All Too Hard, the winner of his two Group I weight-for-age starts this year, hasn't raced since claiming the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield on February 23.
After being scratched from the Australian Guineas, the amended plan for the half-brother to Black Caviar was the George Ryder Stakes, but that also was struck off with the three-year-old battling to regain his health.
On Wednesday, Michael Hawkes told Sky Sports Radio that All Too Hard's campaign was finally back on track.
"He's coming along great the horse, his blood pictures have come back really good so we're quite excited to get him back to where he was when winning those couple of Group Is," he said.
"Obviously we're looking forward to getting him here and setting him for the All Aged, that's where he's going.
"We're taking one step at a time but the horse is well, he's bouncing around and he looks fantastic.
"One thing's for sure if everything's right he'll be there in the All Aged. He's back on top of his game again which is what we want."
