All Too Hard set for 2013 All Aged Stakes clash

Top three-year-old colt All Too Hard tuned up for his return to Sydney racing next week with a solid barrier trial win at Randwick on Friday.

All Too Hard was making his first public appearance since his Melbourne autumn campaign ended when the valuable colt got a virus on the morning of the Group I Australian Guineas.

All Too Hard won a 1050 metre trial by a half neck in 1.04.00.

"Very happy with his trial," co-trainer Michael Hawkes said. "He got back, found himself in a pocket at the top of the straight but when the gap came he wanted to attack the line.

"He wasn't out there to win by panels but he did what we wanted. He's pulled up very bright so it's all good."

All Too Hard will run in Saturday week's $400,000 Group IAll Aged Stakes (1400m) where he will clash with the darling of the Sydney turfMore Joyous.

Meanwhile, Vinery Stud has announced All Too Hard will stand his first season at stud later this year for a fee of $66,000 (inc GST). The half-brother to recently retired superstar Black Caviar is a three time Group I winner from 11 starts.
