Already boasting a win over Hay List, Love Conquers All's co-trainer Michael Hawkes isn't running scared of the odds-on favourite in Saturday's Doomben 10,000.
Hawkes had a succinct answer when asked if punters can expect to see Love Conquers All in the same red-hot form he has shown in Sydney: "You will".
Love Conquers All arrived at his Caloundra base on Sunday after running second in the George Ryder and Doncaster Mile in his latest two runs.
He pleased the stable with a trial win early last week.
Hay List is the $1.67 favourite with TattsBet for the 10,000, but Love Conquers All ($7.50) is the only runner in the race to have beaten Hay List – at last year's June Stakes at Randwick.
"I know what my bloke's got and we beat him once, so we can do it again," Hawkes said.
Love Conquers All had feet issues in Melbourne last year but the stable says he's "as good as gold" now.
