Stable Hands

Hawkes Racing is a successful Horse Training Partnership comprising of John, Wayne & Michael Hawkes.

Full-time and Part-time opportunities are available at both our Rosehill and Flemington complexes for hard-working, reliable, and enthusiastic Stable Staff.

You MUST have prior experience in a thoroughbred racing stable and be competent with all aspects of the care of racehorses.

Duties will include but not limited to:

•   Daily horse care
•  Attending barrier trials and race meetings
• General stable cleaning and maintenance

Also included with working in NSW is the rewarding 2% Stable hand bonus scheme, paid quarterly. Wages will be competitive, and dependent on your level of experience.
